From the Times-Picayune article:
"Faculty, staff and students will be able to comment on the plan at the university’s Web site through April 19, said Wildes, who will present it to Loyola’s Board of Trustees at its May 19 meeting."
Also, this editorial from Saturday is about cuts at public universities, but I think it applies somewhat to private institutions as well. "They should recognize that nurturing high-quality universities is a sure way to improve the future prospects of greater New Orleans -- and that shortsighted cuts would be a major blow." |
